I am sorry for being late to post this. My apologies!

As you know, the class chalet will be on 3rd Jan 2010. In case you might have difficulty in finding your way there, a map is attached for you. The destination is noted as 'CH M' in the map provided. It is quite clearly visible in the image.

I believe some of you wish to go there in groups. As for that, you will have to organise among yourselves. At most, we can provide you with time and venue to meet up before you set off.

The activities will begin at 5pm. Hence, it will be the best if you can start to gather at Causeway Point at 2.30pm and set off at 3.00pm. I suppose 2 hours should be enough to find the way and reach there.

As for those who wish to go on their own, please be there by 5pm (unless you have something on, such as work and etc.)

Just for you information, if you wish to browse through the map and direction towards the chalet, this website is recommended. www.gothere.sg

If you need any further clarification, please feel free to contact me.

Hey People!
It is me again! (Kaiyuan)

Here are some items, that we hope you guys can provide for the class.

1. Wire gauze (for bbq ) x 2
2. aluminium trays to store food x 5

As you all know, buying these items would require money and these items don't come cheap.
So if we are able to get these items without buying , we can cut cost by $30 - $40. Hence, everyone would need to pay less for the chalet, or even have more food to eat for the chalet. Please tell inform any of the class comm members if you have any of these items. Even if you have one paper plate/ one packet of charcoal to spare us; just spare us ! :D

Here are the items that you would need to bring ( Just a checklist )

Extra clothes (inclusive of undergarments, and for the ladies, fbt/shorts would be strongly recommended )

Your entertainment ( PSP, Laptop (Btw, there is no internet there, from my knowledge ) , Handphones, anything capable of storing and displaying visual and/or verbal aids. Well, you get me )

Torchlights w/ batteries :X (optional, but would be fun if you bring )

People! Class Chalet is confirmed Here are the details

It is located at Changi

It is on 3rd of Jan, Sunday .

It is a 2 day 1 night activity.

Miss Fung would be going but not staying overnight.
(There is school the next day, but WE DON'T NEED GO!! :D )

It is near to Changi Village ( Uh a few bus stops away. The nearest and only Chalet with a weekend available to be booked )

Everyone must come. I mean try to make it for the chalet if you don't have anything important for that day (This is the most important already)

And the Chalet is uber expensive. So, there is enough space for everyone. It is not those small tiny ones. :D It is BIG ! It is UBER BIG! It is like my house ( Anyways, you get what I mean )

But I am sure We will have fun ^^.

Lesson 1:

A man is getting into the shower just as his wife is finishing up her shower, when the doorbell rings.

Lesson 3

An eagle was sitting on a tree resting, doing nothing.

A small rabbit saw the eagle and asked him, 'Can I also sit like you and do nothing?'
The eagle answered: 'Sure, why not.'

So, the rabbit sat on the ground below the eagle and rested. All of a sudden, a fox appeared, jumped on the rabbit and ate it.

Moral of the story:
To be sitting and doing nothing, you must be sitting very, very high up.

Lesson 4

A turkey was chatting with a bull.

'I would love to be able to get to the top of that tree' sighed the turkey, 'but I haven't got the energy.'
'Well, why don't you nibble on some of my droppings?' replied the bull. They're packed with nutrients.'

The turkey pecked at a lump of dung, and found it actually gave him enough strength to reach the lowest branch of the tree.

The next day, after eating some more dung, he reached the second branch.

Finally after a fourth night, the turkey was proudly perched at the top of the tree.

He was promptly spotted by a farmer, who shot him out of the tree.

Moral of the story:
Something bad might get you to the top, but it won't keep you there...
Better do it with hard work!

Lesson 5

A little bird was flying south for the winter. It was so cold the bird froze and fell to the ground into a large field.

While he was lying there, a cow came by and dropped some dung on him.

As the frozen bird lay there in the pile of cow dung, he began to realize how warm he was.

The dung was actually thawing him out!

He lay there all warm and happy, and soon began to sing for joy.

A passing cat heard the bird singing and came to investigate.

Following the sound, the cat discovered the bird under the pile of cow dung, and promptly dug him out and ate him.

Morals of the story:
(1) Not everyone who troubles you is your enemy.

(2) Not everyone who gets you out of trouble is your friend.

(3) And when you're in deep trouble, it's the best to keep your mouth shut!

(a) Candidates omitted to say that its specific role is that of temperature regulation.
Misconception: 1: capillaries are capable of constriction.
2: heat is lost from the skin surface only when the body
temperature rises above normal.

• Arterioles are capable of constriction (vasoconstriction)
• Heat is lost from the skin surface all the time and more heat lose when the body temperature rises above normal.

(a)
Skin regulates the temperature of the body.
When body temperature rises above normal, temperature receptors in skin detect change and send nerve impulse to brain.
Hypothalamus of brain is stimulated and sends nerve impulses to relevant body parts.
Arterioles in the skin undergo vasodilation to increase blood flow to the skin.
Skin receives more heat and this is lost to the environment by radiation, convection and conduction.

Class Bbq outing in December’2008
17th December 2008 ( Wednesday)

12pm – All will meet up at Woodlands Mrt Station control. We will proceed to going to the bus station to board the bus, 966.

Estimated 12.45pm – Latest by 1pm, we will reach East Coast Park. From there, we will move to a nearby hawker centre to have our lunch. Roughly 30minutes will be given for lunch. After that, we will move on to playing treasure hunt, the station masters will be giving the detailed briefing on the day. Estimated end time will be around 4pm-4.30pm.

4.30- 6.30pm- Rest and Relax time!!!! By 6.30pm, gather back for bbq!!!!

performance for CAMP. !!{!}
we're planning to dicuss it tmr . but then i'm giving some info here. now. :x

we're planning to do something like 'dancing stomp'

name of performance: 'dancing stomp-ers' O.O
includes: 1. dance 2. and stomping (banging of pots and plates :X)

we hope to divide th class into TWO parts.
well, the talented goes to DANCE (:
lollers. as in those who knows HOW TO DANCE.
dancers are in it, of course.
volunteers are welcome too .

other molecules are into the 'stomp' part.
we will be discussing abt the materials or 'instruments' using on that day.

we ain't asking you to bring pots and pans :D
